I grew up knowing how to use a power drill, designing rooms on my laptop at an early age, doing freestyle chalk art for fun, and could tape off a room for paint before I was a teenager. Those skills, and my passion to create, have come in handy on the many sets and projects I’ve gotten to be a part of. I work regularly as design assistant for Jo Gick, interior designer and co-founder of J &J Design Group who starred in NBC’s hit show “Making It” hosted by Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman and whose design work has appeared in HGTV magazine, People magazine, Wall Street Journal, and more. Through my work with Jo, I’ve tackled assistant production and design projects for large television productions such as “Rooming Up” on Bluprint (a tween/kid room makeover show on NBC Universal’s streaming channel for crafters) and for major publications such as Better Homes and Gardens magazine.

I’ve also made local businesses and restaurants more Instagram worthy through my chalk art installations.

I spend most of my time in sunny Tempe, Arizona as I finish up my degree in environmental design at Arizona State University. I’m particularly interested in conceptual design, sustainability, and design management. In my design work, I love paying attention to the psychology of space and how people interact with their environments.
